Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred but not required.
- Experience in the Real Estate, Development, construction, sector is highly preferred.
- Yardi experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
- Good communication skills.
- Time management skills are essential.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

General Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly owner loan draw packages and Capital calls for assigned projects.
- Compiles supporting documentation required for multiple loan draws. (Invoices, Contractor Pay Apps, Change Orders, COI’s, ROL’s).
- Review contractor payment application packages to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Track all vendor lien releases, including GC lower tier (Prepare Designers & Professional Lien Releases in exchange with Payment).
- Process high volume accounts payable invoices in Yardi workflow for assigned projects.
- Ensure all W-9’s are received from vendors.
- Record all payments - wires, E-checks and Online Payments to ensure cash balance is reflected properly.
- Reconcile monthly bank reconciliations with project transactions to maintain accurate cash balances.
- Reconcile project job costs accounts.
- Prepare monthly Journal Entries for multiple projects.
- Update quarterly workpapers for assigned projects.
- Assist Controller with project financial statements preparation.
- Respond promptly to project team and vendor requests.
- Compile information needed for preparation of year-end tax/audit prep files.
