Raymond Jungles

Decades ago, Raymond Jungles was awakened to the work of Brazilian landscape architect and naturalist Roberto Burle Marx, who became a mentor. Through Raymond Jungles, Inc. (RJI), he now creates designs that similarly respect and respond to natural systems, leading to projects that have been honored with multiple awards from the American Society of Landscape Architects. He has also published four monographs: Ten Landscapes, The colors of Nature, The Cultivated Wild, and Beyond Wild, featuring more than 70 of his completed gardens.

RJI’s designs tread lightly on the land, encourage biodiversity, and incorporate elements of surprise. Innovative solutions for Glass in Miami Beach and Grove at Grand Bay demonstrate Jungles’s use of native plants to complete architects’ visions and bring buildings to life.

GLASS

Just steps from the ocean in the famed South of Fifth neighborhood, GLASS is an architectural statement that reflects—in the most literal sense—the unique environment and thriving urbanism of Miami Beach.

Grove at Grand Bay

With its Bjarke Ingels-designed towers, Grove at Grand Bay has modernized the Coconut Grove skyline and energized the neighborhood. Thanks to its responsible design and environmental awareness, it’s also giving back to it.
