After many years, Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano’s Eighty Seven Park finally sees the light of day as a completed structure in North Miami Beach. Naturally, with light comes spectacular sunrises, sunsets and water vistas.

Now Eighty Seven Park residents will enjoy those unobstructed vistas, beyond the realistic renderings of yesteryear. We’ve seen the depictions. Here’s a first look at Eighty Seven Park—for real.

The Italian architect’s first Western Hemisphere residential building towers over the ocean, beach, and sprawling 35-acre North Shore Park—like some elliptical optical illusion cruise ship pulling out of the harbor. In fact, the project is setting sail.

Much has been documented about this luxurious skyscraper. Tennis legend Novak Djokovic purchased a three-bedroom villa here. The skyscraper’s bold cantilevered architecture and elliptical shape creates the illusion it’s floating above the trees.

Developed by Terra, Eighty Seven Park offers only 70 exclusive elevated villas (ranging from 1,400 to 7,000 feet) with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and wrap-around terraces.
