900 Biscayne

900 Biscayne Bay paved the way for multiple future development cycles in Downtown Miami, including the Frost Museum of Science, the Perez Art Museum Miami, and dozens of luxury residential towers.

The Miami skyline looked very different when Terra built 900 Biscayne. The northern side of downtown Miami had almost been forgotten, except for what was then the nearby American Airlines Arena and the recently-opened-at-the-time Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Terra saw an under-realized stretch of city coastline with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay, along one of the most historically significant streets in the city, Biscayne Boulevard.

Highlights

A true catalyst in every sense of the word, 900 Biscayne became a landmark for “the new Miami,” inspiring neighboring towers, additional cultural destinations and entertainment venues, and a dynamic walkable community. At 516 total residences, 900 Biscayne was also at the forefront of a great migration from the suburbs to the city and attracting international buyers looking for an equal level of luxury outside of Miami Beach.

Highlights

Designed by renowned architect Luis Revuelta, 900 Biscayne Bay is a 63-floor tower angled to capture every possible view of the bay and beyond. It is an architectural masterpiece—from its smooth, undulating façade to the wide-open pools and observation deck on the 17th floor. The design is complemented by celebrated interior designer Sam Robin, whose interiors are a blend of art and design with natural textures and tones.

Modern and serene, 900 Biscayne Bay offers more than 1.5 million square feet of living, office, and retail space, a combination that served as the template that later developments would follow.

Since the opening of 900 Biscayne, thousands of luxury residences, numerous businesses, new parks, bay walks, and community features have come to the same 10-block neighborhood- earning it the local title of Miami’s Arts + Entertainment District.
