Terra enlisted an award-winning team of two American Institute of Architects Fellows (FAIA) to implement and bring the design vision of Botaniko Weston to life - Chad Oppenheim and Roney J. Mateu. Known for conscientious design and sustainable architecture, Oppenheim has worked on projects in 23 countries and received more than 50 industry awards throughout his career. Equally impressive, Mateu has been the recipient of 65 awards for his work and excellence in design.
Homes at Botaniko, are designed with a focus on seamless flow and transition from indoor to outdoor living space in mind, with the idea that each home has a strong connection to, and balance with, the surrounding natural landscape. As such, Oppenheim and Mateu considered outdoor areas as part of the overall design objective, creating spaces for entertaining, recreation, and relaxation that are purpose-built for being an extension of nature. Many of the homes at Botaniko boast lakefront views, private pools, covered patios, and outdoor summer kitchens. The Landscape Design Workshop accented these environments with lush green spaces that are functional as well as aesthetically pleasing, giving each home a sense of place within a natural atmosphere. Interiors by V Starr, the interior design firm led by American tennis champion Venus Williams, further reinforce this idea of seamlessness with furnishings and fixtures that frame and highlight picturesque views throughout each residence.
