Mr. C Story

To ensure Mr. C will set a new standard for modern luxury living, Terra has partnered with Maggio and Ignazio Cipriani, the fourth-generation great-grandsons of Giuseppe Cipriani, who opened the first famed Hotel Cipriani in Giudecca Island in Venice in 1958. Both experienced purveyors of international hospitality, their concept merges the best of classic European living and modern luxury together into a first-of-its-kind residential address where social, wellness and culinary excellence are executed with trademark Cipriani style and refined personal service.

The Brand DNA

In recent years, Miami has become one of the most renowned destinations for contemporary art, artists, and collectors. In many ways, the city caters to the same audience as Venice, where the original Cipriani brand has its roots. The modern extension of the historic brand is, of course, Mr.C - a contemporary expression of luxury based on fulfilling the same high standards of design, service, and genuine hospitality for which the brand is known worldwide.  The Cipriani brothers see Miami as a place to bring the Mr. C brand promise to an even larger global audience, anchored in a city and neighborhood that appreciate that true luxury is about more than where someone lives, but also how people live - the things they do, enjoy, and feel that make each moment special. It is a major endorsement of the level of culture in Miami today the Mr.C brand sees an opportunity for growing one of the most sophisticated and recognized global names in hospitality.

Walkability

One of the enduring draws of Mr. C’s Coconut Grove neighborhood is its pedestrian-friendly atmosphere. Boutiques, galleries, gourmet restaurants, sidewalk cafés, parks, offices, and entertainment are all easily reached within a few minute's walk or bike ride. Equally close are some of Miami’s most desirable marinas, and sailing clubs, both offering direct access with no bridges to Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Like nowhere else in the city, a person can leave their car at home for days at a time and never miss out on enjoyment.

Directly across the street from Mr. C is Regatta Park, Dinner Key Marina, Miami City Hall, Grove Key Marina, and the Regatta Harbour retail and restaurant plaza. A few blocks to the North are the fields, dog park, playground, fitness trail, and beach volleyball courts at David T. Kennedy Park, while to the South are Peacock Park, the shops and restaurants of Mayfair and Cocowalk, a multi-screen movie theater, the Coconut Grove library, and the many street fairs and festivals held throughout the year.

Architecture & Design

Inspired by the sailboats that cross Biscayne Bay directly in front of the Mr. C property, Arquitectonica’s architectural design leverages nautical themes across the form and function of the buildings. The tower profiles are curved like the spinnaker sail with rooflines that resemble the bow of a ship and are geometrically calculated to deliver a sense of movement across the 18-story frames. Bronze-colored mullions resemble wood, and sweeping curvilinear gestures hint at the line of a boat moving through water. Residences and amenity spaces incorporate high-gloss wood millwork in the spirit of luxury yachts, floor-to-ceiling glass, and large terraces for outdoor living.

The nautical theme continues on the interior Meyer Davis's vision of Mr. C was inspired by the classic nautical details, finishes, and color palette of luxury yachts. This inspiration can be seen throughout the amenity spaces and residences with polished wood, curved architectural lines in doorways and millwork, and walls in a shade of blue that matches the distinctive Hinckley yachting line. Additional elements reflect Italian craftsmanship and design sensibilities as seen in leather cushions with contrast piping, artisan-level millwork and wall paneling, Venetian plaster walls, and custom terrazzo flooring unique to Mr. C.

Culture

An essential component of the Mr. C brand experience is closely tied to the culinary traditions woven into the European lifestyle. Multiple specialty gourmet offerings and craft cocktails are built into five separate experiences - La Bottega Market, Mr. C La Bottega Café, Mr. C at Home, the Bayshore Bellini Bar, and the Tigertail Rooftop Pool Bar.

Located within the Mr. C Bayshore building, Mr. C La Bottega Market + Café features a variety of curated sundries and fresh-made prepared foods, baked goods, and other treats. The property’s signature restaurant, Mr. C La Bottega Café features salads, made-to-order pasta, house-made focaccia and panini, crêpes and desserts. The La Bottega Café also offers take-away service, in-home dining experiences for residents, doorstep delivery of weekly-crafted menus, custom culinary gift baskets, and a large selection of fine Cipriani products available for purchase. Mr. C at Home also offers at-home delivery of quality chef-cooked meals prepared to meet the individual tastes and dietary needs of each homeowner.

The Bayshore’s tower Bellini Bar poolside and lounge overlooks Biscayne Bay and carries an extensive selection of cocktails and light bites from the restaurant below, while the Tigertail tower rooftop and bar lounge offers impressive views of both Downtown and the lush Grove treetops.
